REVISED AFRICAN AMERICAN FLAG
We honor and respect the American flag, and will continue to defend it. America is our homeland, what I don’t like about America is from 1619 to 1875 (260 years) we were chattel slaves, which means we had no rights or privileges which still continues until today. We must vote to change our Constitution, state and local laws. Reparations are part of the healing process which will begin with the acknowledgment of retribution paid by the United States of America for 260 years of bondage which prevented the African American people from progressing as other people did. The Revised African American flag is an ethnic flag, the red, black, and green colors represent the diaspora of the African people throughout the world, gold is the color of unity that brings together our brothers and sisters. Africans living in America today are African Americans. America is their homeland and Africa is their motherland. Our homeland is where we live, build families, work, play and die. Being born in America, they are considered to be citizens, even though it was not written in the constitution or other laws of the country. Our rights and privileges are only available to us through voting and litigation. Africa is our motherland, where our ancestors received from God our DNA, heritage and languages. White colonial powers with the gun and tall ships invaded the Homes, villages and country side’s killing and capturing the African people. WHEN WILL IT STOP! As a people of wisdom an understanding we must come together and UNITE to stop the senseless killing of one another, and focus our positive energies on defeating our common enemy, racism in America! WE MUST VOTE!!
